Hello there!

My name is Gina English and I am the creator of HAPPY WRAPS, an alternative to saran wrap. HW are reusable, washable, biodegradable and long-lasting. Cover leftovers, produce, cheeses, breads, and more! I believe what makes HW better than the other wax wraps found on the market is my original, plant-based (non-beeswax) recipe. I spent countless of sticky hours perfecting a formula that works and I am extremely proud of it. They stick the right amount of stick, easily wash, keep your produce remarkably FRESH and I offer a re-coating service when they near the end of their stick which is about 1-2 years I say! HW really do work and I can’t wait for you to try them out :)

HAPPY WRAPS are made in Crested Butte, Colorado, a quaint and historical mountain town full of magic, wonder and a strong sense of community. We care so much for each other and the beautiful land that surrounds us. We may not be able to save the entire planet but I believe making small differences where we live is an easier approach to things and truly adds up. HW are a wonderful product to introduce to your home while making one small, yet mighty, step to a more sustainable life!

INGREDIENTS Candelilla Wax, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, 100% Cotton Fabric.

I chose to use a plant-based wax instead of using beeswax because of how hard it is to find and purchase humanely extracted beeswax. I intend to keep the bees happy :) Beeswax is the bee’s first source of food, who even knew that?! I certainly didn’t until a friend of mine schooled me on it. Harming the bees in any way was the last thing I wanted to do so I experimented with different waxes and landed on Candelilla wax. Extracted from a shrub in New Mexico, Candelilla wax was the right alternative to make!
